Directing & Teaching Artistry

I was a Co-director with Project Pride for two years. I worked with two different youth ensemble cohorts over the course of 6 months to develop an original piece they wrote and performed in. I developed lesson plans, guided teaching exercises and generative sessions, curated vignettes, and directed scenes for the final public performances.

Reaching the Write Minds

I also worked in 2018 as a Playwriting Facilitator for Reaching the Write Minds where I taught playwritign workshops with grades 7-12 throughout the Kansas City area.

Further directing

I’ve also directed short plays, such as Lindsay Adams’ 10 minute play Women in White at the Kansas City International Women’s Voices Play Festival.
