I founded the Terra Femina Collective with Lydia Miller, Lindsay Adams, and Eric Palmquist in July 2018 to help bring a focus on new work created by women and non-binary artists, as well as bring tools and resources for women and non-binary artists in Kansas City.

Terra Femina’s Work

Our inaugural productions were two new works in rotating repetory my own Merely Players, and Lindsay Adams’s Viper, in order to use the canon to dive into depictions of women and sexual assault. Both had queer women directors at the realm, and our entire artistic team was above parity for women and non-binary artists. We also were awarded grant funding from the community and worked with the metropolitan organization to counter sexual assault (MOCSA) in order to best serve audiences and survivors.

Up next for Terra Femina:

We are currently working on developing an free intimacy directing workshop to the Kansas City community!
